Las Laguna Gallery is seeking submissions from artists creating works with stories, apparent Anecdotes, Narratives, Plotlines or Parables.

Since the beginning of time, man has used imagery to convey stories, explore plotlines, illustrate moral or spiritual lessons, and advance ideas.

An anecdotes is a short and amusing or interesting story about a real incident or person.

A Narrative is a spoken or written account of connected events; a story.

Plotlines are the things that happen in a book, movie that advances the plot.

Parables are simple stories used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson

For this call for art we are looking for innovative works that fit any of these themes.

The works can be open ended; thus allowing the viewer to draw their own conclusions or the works can be designed to tell a story.

Works in Acrylic, Airbrush, Assemblage, Charcoal, Color Pencil, Collage, Digital Art,
Drawings, Encaustic, Graphite, Illustration, Mixed Media, New Media, Oil, Painting, Pastel, Photography (Traditional and Digital), and Watercolor, will be considered.
